Peru has ordered 400,000 laptops for its schools. The laptops are being used by teachers and students at Apostol Santiago, a school 100 kilometers north of the capital, Lima. Laptops are trendy portables allowing mobile business to flourish. They are time saving machines at the workplace or home. Larger screen laptops cost more, and by definition are bigger and heavier to lug around.
